For the last two days, I’ve listened to a video clip of Senator Mitch McConnell telling Senate Democrats they need to “grow up” because they requested delaying confirmation hearings because not all of the nominees have submitted required background checks for vetting. Apparently, in 2009 a letter was sent to Senator Harry Reid regarding a similar dilemma https://thinkprogress.org/mitch-mcconnell-confirmation-ethics-hypocrisy-2c75b671d694#.xrw14un26

And then he told the Senate that he expected them to treat Donald Trump with the same respect they showed Barack Obama. Really? Maybe, he forgot about his attitude towards President Obama and sabotaging his presidency!

Remember when Republican Senator David Perdue prayed this Psalm? Well, Mitch, those of us who remember will be praying the same prayer for Donald Trump.

Can hardly wait to see what else the Republicans have in store for unsuspecting Americans. I’m sure — it’ll be a blast! Especially since no one is requiring a psych evaluation for Donald Trump — even though he displays on a regular basis that there is something inherently wrong with his brain function. I’m guessing a cognitive disability they are all trying to hide. He’s surrounding by enablers who have their own personal agenda to influence and use him to their advantage.

When Trump finally wakes up from his egotistical stupor, I wonder what his reaction will be — if he ever wakes from it.

Some of us may not have the platform or influence our “elected officials” have, but we do have access to social media which can be a formidable asset in encouraging people to recall their representatives in Congress for the sake of the nation — not party partisanship.

For the moment — I’ll try to respect the process and believe the Senate will uphold their oaths of office and do the right thing.

If they don’t — I hope everyone reading this and other articles will pull out their phones and get busy — reminding all elected officials, we’re watching.
